Hooray for Youtube! Hooray for books!

Because she’s so awesome, top billing for this post!

Hey you lakeside layabouts! Anneque G. Malchien is Awesome! Tell your friends!   http://pics.imcdb.org/0is251/bluesbrothersbluesmobil.769.jpg

Her Audio Reading of ‘Sayeh and Zia’ was fantastic, but the newly posted Video Review takes it to a whole new level!

Gorgeously hand-crafted sets, complimentary words, sight gags… so much to love!

Head on over and check out Anneque’s video blog hang-out point, The Book House.  Be sure to subscribe if you like what you see, which is a given.  Classic dystopian fiction novel ‘1984’ by George Orwell is scheduled for the next video =)

Also by Anneque is the kick-butt serial fiction The Sunday Witch Hunters, which had its 13th instalment posted recently.  Will it be lucky or unlucky for our group of intrepid heroes?

Monday will be a day of firsts.

It will be the first day of the third month at my workplace.  It will also be my first day fully in the role they re-contracted me for.

Daunting yet exciting, and bittersweet as the person leaving was a great character to have around.  Hoping they have a great time on their international gallivanting =)

The role has me traveling 2.75 hours each day, which is just under 14 hours every week.  I have never been a fan of early mornings, but there has been a benefit to the many hours of commute.

23MAY14 Books read since 26Mar14

23MAY14 2104 Reading Challenge Status

That’s 3,755 pages!  Keeping the current pace, I will reach 10,000 pages read on July 1st!  Happy New Financial Year indeed!
