1) Keep my job!
Still there, still working as best I can!
2) Get that gym membership
Won a rowing machine competition! Kinda cheating since I rowed in High School.
3) Read 35 books
|Nineteen Eighty-Four||George Orwell|
|Treasure Island||Robert Louis Stevenson|
|The Temporal Void||Peter F. Hamilton|
|Blood of Dragons||Robin Hobb|
|Hidden Empire||Kevin Anderson|
|Southern Fire||Juliet McKenna|
|The Alloy of Law||Brandon Sanderson|
|Brave New World||Aldous Huxley|
|The Evolutionary Void||Peter F. Hamilton|
Currently reading ‘Pawn of Prophecy’, Book 1 in the Belgariad Quintology (Pentalogy is the more accepted term). Loving it already =D
4) Join a writing group
Loving this also. So many awesome stories from talented ladies and gents, and not enough time to read them all.
5) Finish at least one stalled project (Big Project Book 1, Achromatic, TLLK, Asamai, NaNoWriMo 2014)
I am up to the final (planned) chapter of TLLK.
A double-edged sword: The story will go beyond the planned 28,000 words. Now looking at 40,000.
6) Win NaNoWriMo 2015!
Still a fair way off. I was invited to participate in a writing contest, but was not able to due to work and other time-related constraints. Might run with the idea once TLLK is finished, and see if it has enough to get to 50,000 =)
A couple of stretch goals:
7) Edit my four stories (M&M, OVCC#9, S&Z, TLLK) and put them together in an anthology
8) Investigate a business idea buzzing in my head
