[…] Fortescue’s novella, “On Venusian Cloud Colony Number Nine,” which you can find here. The author mostly writes fantasy, but this is a great little SF read (about 27,000 words). It was […]
So I click on Mune and Mura and it is amazing! WTH it is awesome why have I not seen this before LOL!
You flatter me greatly =)
It was posted throughout November 2012 on my original blog (djkeyserv140), as a quasi-NaNoWriMo project.
Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the time to read it =)
Yes! I was totally engrossed, and I had to get ready for work! So I didn’t get my hair and make-up done! So I just told my customers I was “scary” haha but it was cause I was reading hehe!
Incredibly fortunate that it is Halloween season. Sorry if it got you in trouble with the boss =S
Haha no it didn’t : ) thank goodness lol! I didn’t look that bad haha~
I’ve just switched over to the PDF… why the gender symbols in the scene breaks? It’s no problem, just curious.
As well as the female symbol, it is the symbol for the planet Venus. You look up Mars, and its symbol is the male gender symbol. Someone took the ‘Women are from Venus, Men are from Mars’ quite literally =)
I didn’t even consider that! But right you are. Very clever. 🙂
Love all the detail in this story. Even if the plot with the space crabs (as such they are until proven otherwise) wasn’t present, I could read it just for the diamonds. Amazing that we have the technology to take slivers out of them. Plus the whole bloated economy for them. It’s a great story.
Chuffed that you’re enjoying it =D
Hm, pretty sure that elevator will give me nightmares though. 0_0;;
Thanks for downloading the story =D
It was very enjoyable. Now must meditate on the greater meaning. Ohm.
Thank you for taking the time to read it all, especially with your side projects and Poke-hunting making claims for your hours =)
Glad to do it. 🙂 It made for a very pleasant afternoon.

If I had a lunchbox, I may have had to kidnap you so I could have a legend in it =)
